Cove Park
Cove park seems to have the perfect geographical conditions for waves that are ideal for surfing. The area is quite shallow and as a result, the waves form far out and remain ridable until almost the shore. There is barely and sea urchins on the rocky bottom. If you are getting surfing lessons in Kihei, chances are you'll be taking them here. Surfing lessons are restricted to the north end of Cove Park. Probably a couple dozen students are taught to surf daily.
